Tickets are now on sale for Me and Jezebel, Elizabeth Fuller’s comedy based on her real-life encounters with stage and screen legend Bette Davis. Directed by Mark S. Graham and starring Fuller and Kelly Moore, Me and Jezebel begins performances July 17, with an official opening night on July 24 at the Snapple Theater Center.
On May 28, 1985, star-struck Elizabeth Fuller’s dream came true when the legendary Bette Davis came to dinner at her dilapidated New England cottage. Four weeks later, as the hotel strike in New York raged on, she was still there. In one short month she conquered suburbia, took over the Fullers’ home and changed their life forever. In the new revival, Fuller plays herself, while Moore, in drag, plays Davis.
After premiering at off-Broadway’s Actors Playhouse in 1994, Me and Jezebel has received productions all over the world, including Prague, Slovakia, Munich, Edinburgh, Warsaw, Athens, Sydney, Melbourne and Brazil.
